Informal education, traditionally the poor stepsister of mainstream formal education, is now a princess-in-the-making at the royal ball.  -DaveH

Informal learning is only now  beginning to play a significant role in the development and strengthening of careers; and it is already the chief enabler for transitioning from mid-life career to a successful later-life career.

At the present time, there is little information available on the subject of informal adult education ... at least for the people who have a critical interest actually doing it. For this reason, I am initially setting up this department more along the lines of a blog than a study guide.

 


Topics included in these free online learning resources are roughly equivalent to one- or two-semester courses in a traditional school environment.
